About The Author

Raymond G Wyborn

Author | Storyteller | Model Engineer

Born in London in 1938, just before the outbreak of World War II, Raymond G. Wyborn grew up during a time of great upheaval—an experience that would later inform the emotional depth and realism of his writing. After early struggles with traditional schooling, Raymond discovered a talent for art and creativity, which led to a successful career as a commercial artist in the advertising industry. He later went freelance, collaborating with top agencies and private clients alongside his eldest son.

Though storytelling had long been a personal passion, it was a surprise birthday gift—200 printed copies of his first novel, secretly published by his son—that reignited his commitment to writing. Since then, Raymond has gone on to publish multiple novels, each drawing from a life rich in observation, craftsmanship, and curiosity about the human condition.

When he isn’t writing, Raymond enjoys model engineering and has contributed articles to model railway publications. His stories are known for their strong characters, unexpected twists, and themes of justice, integrity, and resilience.

“An Eye for an Eye” is his fourth published book, offering readers a gripping tale of vigilante justice with moral complexity. His latest, “A Change of Career,” explores the seductive and often treacherous world of politics through the eyes of a young woman thrown into its depths.

Raymond now devotes most of his time to writing—and to sharing stories that entertain, provoke, and inspire.

About The Book

An Eye For An Eye

An Eye for an Eye is a gripping crime thriller by Raymond G. Wyborn that follows three terminally ill men who take justice into their own hands. When retired army major Ron Cane is diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, he teams up with a disgraced journalist and a tech-savvy young man to punish criminals the legal system has failed. Their escalating vigilante campaign, from brutal retribution to viral exposés, forces society to confront a haunting question: What would you do if you had nothing left to lose?

Blending raw intensity with moral complexity, the novel explores themes of justice, mortality, and defiance. As the trio’s actions spark public outrage and police scrutiny, they race against time to leave their mark, culminating in a shocking final act. Wyborn’s sharp prose and unflinching storytelling make this a standout thriller for fans of Death Wish and Dexter.

Releasing in 2025, An Eye for an Eye is both a page-turning crime story and a provocative commentary on power, punishment, and the price of redemption. Pre-orders coming soon.
